Currently the best selling Christmas tree in the UK, Nordmann Firs are much loved for their symmetrical shape, hardiness, and their glossy dark green foliage which is slightly scented.

The Nordmann Fir is blessed with excellent needle retention - unlike some varieties it will hold on to it's needles as long as possible. This means less hoovering and more time admiring the beautiful foliage of this tree.

The tree itself requires very little training or pruning. While it is outside a slight trim once or twice a year to help keep it's shape is usually all that is required.

In recent years, the Fraser Fir has been growing in popularity in the UK. Many people choose this tree for it's gorgeous silvery-green, dense and bushy foliage as well as the softness of the needles, which help to avoid scratches and other injuries.

Another reason why this tree is so popular is due to the sweet citrus aroma given off by the tree, this scent fills your home and can last for as long as the tree is indoors. The branches of the tree are thick, strong and are angled upward to allow easy decoration and it can take on heavier ornaments with no trouble.

Already blessed with excellent needle retention, this tree will hold on to it's needles for as long as it is kept well watered.

We sell a variety of pot grown trees at our stores.

As they’re living, pot grown trees do require frequent watering – but as with any house plant, be careful not to over water. If well looked after there's no need to discard your tree; these can be grown in your garden and continue to blossom, and used year after year.

Talk to a member of our team who will be happy to give you advice on how to take care of your living tree.
